Tempered is made by heating the original to a very high temperature and
cooling it down rapidly to form a compressed surface on the . Depending
on the shape it can be divided into the fully and the heat strengthened
(also called semi-tempered ).

Product characteristics:
Tempered is 3 to 4 times as strong as common . If broken due to some external force, it will form bean-sized nodules lessening or avoiding damage or injury
to people and the surrounding area. Our has a high degree of
precision, a low rate of self-blasting and no stress flaws.

1) Maximum size: 6,000mm x 2,440mm
2) Minimum size: 250mm x 200mm
3) Thickness:
a) 4-25mm(tempered)
b) 4-10mm(semi-tempered)

Standards: BS6206, ASTM1048-97, JISR3206-96, DIN18516.

Note: Tempered will sometimes self-blast due to the characteristics of the
material. This is caused by the NiS, which sometimes becomes unstable after heating
and sudden cooling. While the possibility of self-destruction can be reduced,
it can't be eliminated completely. To minimize the chances of self-blasting, we
have a large heat-soak furnace to reduce the chances of self-blasting. After being
heat-soaked, the self-destruction probability will be reduced from 1/1000 to
1/100,000.
